Website Keywords for Google Spiders.

Everyone knows that if you want to find something on Google you type in certain words in the search bar and Google finds those websites with those words in it. These “words” are called keywords. If you want to be found on the web you will carefully survey the best keywords to use for your website.Each page of your website can feature a related keyword. Remember Google treats every page, especially page1,2,3 like separate websites so you want to make sure they are all about the same keywords that best describe your business or project. When you control your own website you can list all the keyword for each pageto make it easierfor the search engine spiders to find you. This may seem redundant but the text on the page should use these keywords frequently. If you pick the right keywords and design your website around these keywords you will do well with Google. When you build web pages, you are building them for real people as well as search engine spiders. The words, phrases and text should appeal to people and (not be spammy) be structured so that spiders love the content too. Spiders are very logical so things like appropriate headings, photo names and link names should relate directly to the page keywords. The most important keywords should be in the top third of any page because they are the most important according to the spiders. Kind of makes perfect sense doesn’t it?

(As an example I what I just wrote about: my original heading for this page was "website design tips" After I did a website page analysis, I changed it to the heading " website keywords for Google spiders" because these were the most predominate keywords in the passage so now the heading lines up with the content. I also repeated the heading although that somewhat redundant but forgiveable, I hope. I also changed the font to a header font rather than a normal font because the spiders view headings as being more important)

A second way search engine spiders find your website is by noting how many other websites link to your website. (called backlinks) Google figures that if you website is discussed or linked to yours the webmasters must think it is important and worth noting so Google ranks your website higher. How do you get other websites to link to yours? The Dangers of a Vegan Diet

A vegan diet is really good for the person but really bad for the economy. If millions of people in Canada adopted the diets recommended by the books “The China Study” and “Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease” and the movie “Forks Over Knives’, lower demand would have a disastrous effect on big cattle farmers, dairy farmers, and hog producers. All kinds of jobs would be lost and real estate values of farms would plummet if it could not be used for crops. More land would be needed to grow more fresh produce. People would be getting healthier and living longer so doctors and nurses and all the health technical people like x ray technicians and lab technicians would find themselves in a vastly diminished job market. Imagine that, unemployed doctors. Hospitals would be almost empty and nursing homes would become health resorts because chronic illness no longer existed. Nutrition consultants will do well. Social security would have a whole new issue of lots of people living longer. The retirement age will certainly go up because these new health active seniors will want to work or contribute some way to society. McDonald's will become a vegan first food place simply because it will be good for business.

These wholesale changes in society will be very disruptive and cause widespread economic calamity, perhaps economic collapse. Major industries like cattle farming, meat processing plants, dairy farms, milk production, cheese production, yogurt producers, food processors, supermarkets, food transport, all the medical professions, hospitals, nursing homes, drug companies will all suffer tremendous losses in income and many will simply go out of business. A major depression would no doubt result. Who knew that vegetables could mean so much? This why no government in their right mind is ever going to endorse this diet as the answer to the health problems of today.

Thank God, individuals can still choose what’s best for them. One by one people will change so perhaps all the above will happen gradually over the next 100 or so years which gives everybody time to adapt. A vegan diet will become normal. Former farm animals will be kept in zoos just so people can see them. People will look at these animals and think people back to the 21 st century people as if we were barbaric for eating these creatures especially since an animal diet was so unhealthy. Yes, it will be hard for future humans to believe that present humans were so poorly educated in the elementary rules of nutrition.

Anti  Science Thinking : Alive and Well but not Healthy.

There is a disturbing common threat evident predominantly in the USA when it comes to science. For a country that boasts about being a leader in technology and so called leader of the free world, this fact should cause people around the world to shudder. We are often amused by the people in the Middle Ages because they thought the world was flat and that the Earth was the center of the universe and anyone who thought differently was regarded as a lunatic. The Catholic Church is often criticized today for the anti science evident in the famous Inquisitions that branded people as heretics when they differed from Church teachings. In the past many of these dissenters were jailed, tortured and even put to death for having alternate opinions usually based on some rudimentary science.  Science was seen as the enemy especially to the established world order.

 It is disturbing to note that in the so called modern day USA, things have not changed much. Apparently, the dumb bunnies are still in charge. No we don’t put people in jail, whip or flog them or put them to death by hanging, the electric chair or the axe for supporting certain scientific opinions after all we do have freedom of speech, don’t we?  No something much more insidious is used: mind control. The Nazis were the first to use mass propaganda to influence popular opinion. They used newspapers, magazines, radio, the movies and public demonstrations to promote their cause. Can you imagine how effective they would have been with the internet, social networks, present day cable television? They would make Fox News look like real small potatoes and Rupert Murdock would be out of a job.  One of Nazis basic social media principles was “tell the big lie” because everyone will believe it because it was so big it must be true.

Present mass propaganda is largely funded by the mega multinational corporations that have more cash and assets than most countries.  None of these corporations have to answer to the public directly but they do often answer to their shareholders. These shareholders only really care about their return on investment. In other words, money rules. When a corporation sees a threat to its business it reacts to preserve its investments and assets. No thought is given to what is good for society or individuals. That’s not the purpose of the corporation. That’s somebody else’s problem. Most corporate actions don’t have a big impact on people directly so their action is not really that important to most citizens. This is not true when corporations sell products that impact the health of an individual, and the overall health of society.

Modern corporations often behave in a similar fashion to the people of the middle Ages, and the Inquisitors when it comes to science that threatens their cash flow.  Even thought the science is real, some corporations simply do not recognize it. Not only that, they do all in their power to discredit it. They use all the propaganda tools available to cast doubt on science so as to confuse people. This is the modern weapon used against science so people will not take any actions that will impede the financial interests of corporations. Since cash is not a problem, corporations spend  millions on lobbyists, TV ads, newspaper ads and paid stooges who write blogs and appear on TV as so called experts. They spend millions on supporting political parties who support their views. In fact, politicians are often persuaded to vote certain ways to retain or garner money for campaigns.

These are the tactics used by the tobacco Industry and the climate change deniers. These people know they are wrong but that doesn’t matter. What matters is the bottom line this year and next. The general economic or health consequences are not entered into the equation. This short term thinking is the fundamental flaw in capitalism. This like a cancer cell that feeds on the host until it kills the host.

There is another huge lie being perpetuated on the American people who have a huge impact on their health, longevity and finances. This lie protects the interests of the food industry, the cattle industry, the dairy industry, the drug industry and the insurance industry. The lie relates to the recommended healthy cholesterol levels.  The American Heart Association, the National Cholesterol Education Program and the National Research Council al recommend that cholesterol levels be below 200 mg/Dl. They also state that you can consume 30% of your diet from fats. Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr. M.D.  In his book “Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease” states that “This so called safe level virtually guarantees, that if everyone actually met their stated goals, that every year more than 1.2 million American will suffer heart attacks and millions more will watch the inevitable progression of their coronary heart disease.” Esselstyn also says that most doctors know that 25% of heart attacks effect people who have cholesterol levels between 180 and 200 mg/Dl and those 30% calories from fat virtually guarantee high cholesterol. (Dr Esselstyn is featured in the book, The China Study and in the movie “Forks over Knives”)

Conscientious individual s who follow  these national guidelines are essentially believing the big lie from highly respected institutions in America.  Why? Where does all the harmful cholesterol come from? Animals. Do you think these associations are heavily influenced by corporations that depend on animal products for their very existence? Do you think the Department of Agriculture is influenced by big farm /food/dairy corporations? There is no doubt about it. Even the government has put its head in the sand when it comes to cholesterol and fat levels. This is the same government that funds health care, health research and is currently trying to control health costs while at the same time another arm of the same government is doing is best to ensure that disease continues to kill and cripple people in the USA.

The science is there and it is irrefutable but it conflicts with the financial futures of many industries. Confusion is purposely created and people fail to act. It’s the same strategy used by the tobacco industry and the climate change deniers but the lie about heart disease has not reached the same level of public knowledge. Until it does, millions more will die since corporate profits are more important than the health of a nation. What do ordinary people do?  People need to be proactive about their own health since you really don’t know who’s really acting in your interests or some nebulous corporate interest. I would suggest you read both The China Study by T. Colin Campbell PhD and Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease by Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr M.D. and see the movie “Forks Over Knives”.  These books are not promoting any special interest, just good nutrition through healthy eating based on scientific evidence. We all owe a real debt of gratitude to these men who are stepping out of the box and taking on very powerful adversaries in the name of science and good health.

I  have just finished reading ‘The China Study” by T. Colin Campbell and as I laid it down, I said to myself and to Pat, my wife, that “this was the most important book I have ever read”. It ranks right up there behind the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. The Wall Street protestors and their associates throughout the world have had a lot of press lately and they deserve our recognition and thanks for protesting an economic system that favours the rich with no regard for anyone else. The China Study could fosters an equally and perhaps more important grassroots movement because it empowers everyone to take charge of their own health by eating the right foods.  

This China Study is not based on some fantasy or nebulous idea about nutrition. It is factual and based on mountains of scientific data and it rocks the status quo in the medical Industry, food industry and drug industry. Each by themselves have massive lobby groups to promote their special interests which actually boils down to one word “money”.  All together, these industries are a gigantic part of the GNP of any country so any threat to them is a threat to the overall economics of a country and in fact the world. Are they too big to fail? Is that why governments don’t tell people the truth? Are the masses of people expendable so a few other people can line their pockets with money gained from ill health. Is the system that perverted? Read the book. 

The China Study basically says you can prevent and reverse heart disease, cancer , diabetes and a host of other diseases simply by following a vegan diet. This has enormous implications for everyones’  health. Ordinary people like you and me can control their own health outcomes without the need of a doctor, a drug company and a food processor. Most of we need can be grown by the local farmer and by other farmers that are not so local. If this movement becomes widespread we don’t eat animals nearly as much as at present so the vast resources used to feed herds of animals will no longer be needed which lifts a huge burden off the environment. It’s a double win situation for humans, the animals and our planet.  

The core facts in the China Study have been recommended before but simply ignored, swept under the rug and forgotten. Mainstream medicine treats nutrition as if it has nothing seriously to do with health. Drugs and procedures replace food as the talking points. Colin P. Campbell is a brave man and should be honoured for his role in bringing these basic food facts to the attention of all who will listen and read. He, no doubt, has very powerful enemies who will stop at nothing to discredit him and his book. This time I believe the real facts will get out to a much larger audience via the internet and websites such as www.wellolistic.com. The Wall Street Protestors have shown that there is fundamental discontent with how government operates and that ordinary people are willing to take action so government works for the people not the lobbyists and special interest groups, including the rich. Given the facts presented in The China Study, ordinary people have the power to control their own health and we, the people, get to vote for our health three times a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. How will you vote?

Some would say: why this website? 

Aren't Twitter and Facebook doing a great job? Yes, they are doing a great job at what they do.

Facebook, to me, is like a giant bar with lots of people, pub games, slot machines and loud music whereas

Wellolistic is like meeting people in your local park while walking, or people you meet in the library, or gym or health food store.

Twitter is great for short messages and for linking to in depth articles and issues.

I use both Facebook and Twitter to promote Wellolistic.com.

I believe that Health is our most valuable asset closely followed by the quality of life we experience in society and that we have a fundamental responsibility to manage our own health and be proactive within society. Evil will triumph if good people do nothing.

Some people naturally "want a say", some "want to learn" , others have an inclination "to teach" and we all have a need "to connect".

Wellolistic is a vehicle for helping this happen and is open to all. Our logo is round because all people are equal, and because we think holistically. It is multicoloured because it is all inclusive of all people and the "W" stands for the " Words" that give us power to create wellness in the World. The logo was also inspired by the "wellness wheel". The New Age of the Internet

Facebook, Twitter, and now Google all feed on the latest mega trend on the internet and that is "interaction of people".

People want a voice and they want their voice to be heard. These social networks are "people first communities" and that's why they are so successful.

Big business sometimes gets the message right but many of them are stuck in the 70's. Some get it right to be sure but there are many who just wish it would all go away. Well, it's not going away. Small businesses have a real opportunity to level the playing field on the internet. That's always been one of the great attractions of the internet for small business. The downside is somebody has got to learn the few basics to make an impression on the web. In the "old" days websites were created but now they are somewhat obsolete. Why? People want a voice and they want their voice to be heard. These social networks are "people first communities" and that's why they are so successful.

Big business sometimes gets the message right but many of them are stuck in the 70's. Some get it right to be sure but there are many who just wish it would all go away. Well, it's not going away.
